Terms of Service
By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the website.
1. Scope
This website provides information, documentation, and guides for Auto Learning Agents (the Software), a self-hosted AI agent platform published by the Company. The website and the Software are separate things: the website is operated by the Company, while the Software is distributed as source code that you download, install, and run on infrastructure you control.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, business, or professional advice, and no output produced by the Software or described in the documentation should be relied upon as such.
2. The Software License (AGPL-3.0)
The Software is open source, licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You are free to download it, self-host it, and modify it for your own use at no charge. The license, not these Terms, governs your rights in the source code, and the full license text ships with the Software repository.
The AGPL carries obligations along with its freedoms. In particular, if you modify the Software and make it available to others over a network, the license requires that you make your modified source code available to those users under the same license. If you distribute the Software or derivative works, the same source code obligations apply.
3. Commercial Licensing
Companies that want to embed the Software in a commercial product, offer it to customers as a hosted or managed service, or use it under terms other than the AGPL can purchase a commercial license from the Company. A commercial license removes the AGPL source code obligations for the covered use. Contact the Company at the address above to arrange one. Using the Software in ways that require a commercial license without holding one is a violation of the AGPL and of these Terms.
4. Self-Hosted Responsibility
The Software runs autonomous AI agents on your own servers, under your own accounts, with credentials you provide. You are solely responsible for the infrastructure you run it on, the credentials and API keys you configure, the oversight of what your agents do, the costs charged by AI model providers and other services you connect, and compliance with the laws that apply to your use in your jurisdiction.
The Software includes controls built for that responsibility, including pause switches, permission modes, approval queues, and human review flags, and you are responsible for configuring and using them appropriately for your situation.
5. AI and Third-Party Services
The Software connects to third-party services you choose to configure, including AI model providers, email and messaging platforms, social networks, scraping providers, and cloud services. Your use of each of those services is governed by that provider's own terms and prices, and the Company is not a party to those relationships.
AI-generated output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing agent output that matters, particularly anything sent to your customers or the public.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use this website or the Software to violate any law, infringe the rights of others, send spam or unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law, or interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website. The Company may restrict access to the website for violations of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The Software's source code is copyright the Company and licensed to you under the AGPL-3.0 as described above. The content of this website, including documentation, articles, and branding, is copyright the Company. You may quote and reference the documentation with attribution; republishing substantial portions requires permission.
8. Disclaimers
THE WEBSITE AND THE SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, ARE DISCLAIMED. THIS MIRRORS THE WARRANTY DISCLAIMER IN THE AGPL-3.0 LICENSE THAT GOVERNS THE SOFTWARE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM THE WEBSITE, THE SOFTWARE, OR THE ACTIONS OF AGENTS YOU RUN WITH THE SOFTWARE.
THE COMPANY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO THE COMPANY, IF ANY, IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the website or the Software, the actions of agents you operate, your data, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Florida.
